Base Plan - Manufacturer's Warranty/Extended Warranty

The computers purchased through JVE Technologies include a standard one-year on-site parts and labor warranty service plan (not the "extended Coverage Service Package"). The plan that comes with the computer is the manufacturer's warranty, from the Dell factory. It is serviced in the field by JVE Technologies technicians, and covers only the repair or replacement of defective or failed hardware components. This plan may be more comprehensive than plans offered by some of the "name-brand" manufactures, but it does not cover all of the technician labor costs that may be required to get your system back up and running.

For an extra cost, the customer may extend his warranty service (Extended Coverage Service Package) to a total of either two or three years. The factory provides unlimited over-the-phone hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics to the component level, component replacement and on-site service (by JVE) for customers who have purchased the optional Extended Coverage Service Package.

For workstations, the cost for year two is $95.00 per workstation, and the cost for year three is an additional $100.00 per workstation. Year two for a File Server is $200.00, and the third year is $250.00. The total is due at time of purchase.
